Cannot Post Image in Activity

  • Hello folks. I am using the plugin to allow users to post media content in their Activity thread. When I add only text content and press “Post Update”, it works and adds the content to the user’s activity. However, if I add an image or video, it will not post. I have confirmed that the images and video are small enough; they don’t hit my upload limits.

    I have also deactivated all plugins but BuddyPress and reverted to one of the default WordPress themes, and still no success. I am using WordPress version 6.5.2.

    Thanks for reaching out to us.

    I’ve confirmed that the media upload feature is working correctly. Can you confirm which image/video extension you’re trying to upload? Please keep in mind that only the following file formats are permitted: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, mp4, and mp3. Also, if you could provide a screenshot or visual representation of the issue, it would be helpful for further investigation.
