Cannot redeclare wp_ajax_press_this_save_post()

  • I am unable to insert an image into a post. When I attempt to do so, I get an http error. I can upload to media, but when I go to media to insert the image, it times out. I am using 4.9.1 and this just started. I’m not sure when. I only attempted to make changes today after about a week with no similar changes that would have brought this to my attention.

    The following shows while in debug mode:

    [11-Dec-2017 18:46:20 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wp_ajax_press_this_save_post() (previously declared in /home/content/XXXX/html/wp-includes/deprecated.php:3921) in /home/content/XXXX/html/wp-admin/includes/ajax-actions.php on line 3200

    I’m also seeing the following when attempting to create or update a post:
    Connection lost. Saving has been disabled…

  • Can’t do anything without more information. A link to the site at the very least. It sounds like a theme or plugin is causing a conflict. Every theme and plugin here on the www.ads-software.com site has it’s own support page. install the Health Check plugin to see what is causing the conflict and take it up with the developer.
