Cannot redirect Japanese URLs

You need to URL encode the Japanese characters:

https://www.urlencoder.org

I get this now:

Check redirect for: https://munaenglish.com/jp/%E3%82%B5%E3%83%BC%E3%83%93%E3%82%B9/
Expected: 301 to /jp/#services

Found: 301 to /jp/#services

Strange because when written in Japanese as in my original post, the error message was able to output the encoded URL.

Is there any way to make the plugin simply accept a Japanese URL and encode it automatically without the user needing to manually encode each URL?
