Cannot remove image url

In an older version of WordPress I used to be able to remove the URLs from images to keep people from right-clicking on them. I have a no-right-click plug in, but it only works on the full page. You can still left-click on the image, then right click, and download it.

In the newer versions of WordPress, there is a green rectangle reading “protect this file.” I put some protections on it, and logged off as administrator. I could still easily download the image.

In the media library the URL can no longer be removed.

Maybe I have to read more on this feature. But I would still like to be able to remove the URL from images.

Any help, insight, or suggestions?
