Cannot remove preview image

    Hello,

    I have removed the default preview image that had been set in my all in one seo settings, however it continued to show when I texted a link. I have deactivated the plugin for now. How can I get this to stop showing?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    If All in One SEO is deactivated and the image is still showing, please clear any website, server, or CDN cache. Then recheck the page. Please know that social media sites can cache your pages as well. Could you share a bit more information on how the page was sent via text?

    Sorry, I may not have explained properly. The issue is not happening right now because the plugin is deactivated. I would like to reactivate it though, but don’t want to wrong image to show up again. It was chatted over an iphone.

    Hi @larajdesigns09,

    Thank you for that information.

    Could you please tell me what your image settings are in All in One SEO > Social Networks > Facebook – Default Post Image Source and Default Post Facebook Image?

    Then on the page shared, edit the page and scroll down to AIOSEO Settings > Social and share what the image source is set to for Facebook.

    Please let me know what image URL should be used based on those settings as well.

    Hello,

    I would like the image to default to whatever the featured image on the page is. I have deleted the facebook image set now, and the logo image set under global settings. Do I need to worry about image coming from anywhere else? I don’t see an All in one section on individual page editing section.

    Hi @larajdesigns09,

    You can set the default image for Facebook to use the Featured Image in All in One SEO > Social Networks – Facebook as seen here – https://a.supportally.com/i/UviRav

    This setting will be applied to all pages and posts.

    Be sure to set a Default Image which will be used if the Featured Image is not present on a page or post.

    The individual page and post settings can be found by editing the page, then scroll down to AIOSEO Settings > Social.

    Please let me know if you have any other questions.
