• Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to help me with my issue. I feel very lost and unable to figure this out.

I know that to remove the ads I must remove the code given to me. However, I cannot find the code for the life of me. I went as far as deactivating and deleting the plugin but obviously that does not remove the code or ads.

And somehow now I cannot reinstall the plugin because there is already a folder created for my website….?

I cannot remember where I placed these codes, and I’ve been searching. Would anyone out there be able to help?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You are using the plugin “Google Analytics by MonsterInsights” to embed Google Analytics code. Deactivating the plugin should solve it.

Or do you actually mean Google Ads code? Strangely enough, it is duplicated in the source code of the page. You can achieve this for example by customizing templates via child theme. Or by code snippet plugin. You could change the theme as a test. Is the code then gone? Then it is somehow included in your actual theme. Since this is a commercial theme, we can’t help you here. But the support of this theme: https://themebeez.com/themes/fascinate-pro/

If you have already deactivated and deleted the plugin, but the ads are still appearing on your site, there are a few things you can try to find and remove the code.

    1. Check your theme files: Ads can sometimes be inserted directly into the theme files of your website. You can check these files by going to Appearance > Editor in your WordPress dashboard. Look through your theme files (particularly header.php, footer.php, and sidebar.php) for any code that looks like it might be related to ads. If you find any code, remove it and save the changes.
    2. Check your widgets: Ads can also be inserted into widgets on your website. Go to Appearance > Widgets in your WordPress dashboard and look through all of the widgets that are currently active on your site. Look for any that might be related to ads (such as a text widget containing ad code) and delete them.
    3. Use a plugin: There are plugins available that can help you search for and remove ad code from your website. One such plugin is called “AdSense Invalid Click Protector,” which can be found in the WordPress plugin repository. Install and activate the plugin, then run a scan to search for ad code on your site. The plugin will then give you the option to remove the code.

As for your issue with reinstalling the plugin, it’s possible that there are still some leftover files or folders from the previous installation. You can try manually deleting these files and folders via FTP (or ask your web hosting provider to do this for you). Once all of the files and folders have been deleted, you should be able to reinstall the plugin without any issues.
