    Hello,

I added automatic in-feed ads (served through vi.ai platform) to my website a long while ago, using this plugin.

Today, I updated my site, wanted to remove those ads and needed to realize that there is no possibility to remove them or configure anything regarding vi.ai anymore.

I remember there being a tab for vi.ai ads in YouTube Embed Plus plugin settings.
However, that tab now is gone and with it the option to remove the ads I don’t want to show anymore.

Already narrowed it down to this specific plugin and tried removing/reinstalling it which, unfortunately, did not change anything.

The unwanted ads are still shown and now I don’t even know where this plugin got that data from, does it not delete its settings when removing?

Any help will be highly appreciated!

    Best,
    Yannick

    Hi,

It looks like it’s been a while since you updated the plugin. We incrementally wound the vi stuff down and gave the opportunity to turn it off over multiple versions since what you previously had. Your best bet is to install version 13.1.2.5, which would reveal the vi deactivation feature. These are instructions to temporarily go back to older plugin versions: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/download-older-versions-of-wordpress-plugins/

Once you’ve turned off vi, you can then migrate back to the latest version.

    Hi,

thanks a lot, worked like a charm!

I was able to remove the ads with the version you suggested and I am running the latest version again ??
