Cannot reset password

    Hi everyone, I am setting up a new forum on the site and fiddling around with registration approval. I thought I almost had it but when the new user attempts to access the lost password page Wordfence is immediately locking them out. I would appreciate some advice on this. Thanks.

  • Hi @gayle1,

    Can you take a look at Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic? Does an entry show up listing that the user was blocked?

    Hi Dave,
    Thanks for the reply. Yes it does, but I have slept on it overnight and am going to try temporarily deactivating WF and trying the password reset process to get a better idea of what is going on. Once I know that the other processes are working fine I will retest it with WF and, if necessary, come back for some advice.
