• Hello

In my website I have several widgets using this plugin.
There is one widget where I change the playlist id everyday.
So everyday the page on my website have to show another Youtube Playlist.

Since yesterday I cannot SAVE my changes in this widget anymore.
I changed the name of the playlist, I changed the playlist ID… But when I click on SAVE, nothing happens anymore. Before I had no problems with that, but now I suddenly do.

I thought it was a browser problem, but it wasn’t.
I also tried other computers, but no difference.

    Any ideas?

  • Same here, my widgets won’t save. Tried different browsers, API creds, tried uninstalling other plugins. Won’t save.

Looks like I am not alone… guess I need to find an alternate one now…

    Hello guys,

I found a solution for it. Open the Widget Section. Click on Screen Option (Top Right corner). Enable accessibility mode and then save the widget. Once it is saved, disable the accessibility mode.

Let me know if it worked for you ??

    Good day guys!

Great, that worked for me! It’s a little bit more complex, but it did the trick ;)!
    Thank you!

Another plugin that I used in meantime is: YotuWP.

I am glad to hear the trick was helpful!

Thank you for the recommendation (of alternate plugin) as well ??

Thanks for this post, and thanks @samchoe2002 for your work-around.

I’ll add this: when I followed @samchoe2002 ‘s advice and tried to save the widget in accessibility mode, I was prompted to change a few menu-order/tab-order numbers. In fields that used to take “4” as an option, I was prompted to select a number “< 4”. I couldn’t save the widget until I changed those to “3”. (Nothing in the on-page appearance was hurt by doing so.) After I changed those, I was able to save, and then disable accessibility mode.

From then on, I was able to make further changes in the widget settings and save it normally; I no longer needed to switch into accessibility mode.

Perhaps it was the fact that “4” was no longer an acceptable setting that kept it from saving all along. Instead of the accessibility mode trick, you might also try going through all of the tabs and changing any “4” order settings to “3”; this might allow saving the widget as well.

If this works for you – or doesn’t work – please post your result here.

    Hi All,

    @samchoe2002 ROCKS!

His solution below works for me. Some of my settings needed to be changed.
