Cannot save article when adding a URL?

    Hi all,

    my WP works fine except one thing (since a few weeks): whenever I add a URL to my text (even, when the URL is NOT linked), I am unable to save the article. If I delete the URL, I can hit “publish”, when I add the URL, I cannot.

    Any ideas?

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

    If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    This problem appears only in the Guttenberg editor, if I try it in the Classic editor, it works as expected.

    This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Try installing the “Health Check” plugin:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

    On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change to a default theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.

    If the problem goes away (you’re able to publish posts and pages that include a URL), from the Plugins page, click “Enable while troubleshooting” to start enabling plugins one by one to identify the conflict.
