• Hello!

I am trying to setup the contact form in a website, but when I try to save my settings, it sends me to /wp-admin/options.php and says the page was not found.

Have just tried restoring to default, deactivating and activating, installing and uninstalling the plugin.

The plugin works fine in another site with nearly identical configuration (same host, WordPress version, Astra theme).

The actual plugin works otherwise (when the shortcode is added, it is operating with the unchanged settings).

    Hi @srodweb

Any differences in the plugins used? There might be a conflict with some plugin.

I tried to swap a different plugin used but no change happened.

The plugin I swapped is Conditional blocks (www.ads-software.com/plugins/conditional-blocks/)

Two other additional plugins used are Testimonials Slider and showcase (www.ads-software.com/plugins/testimonial-slider-and-showcase/)
and the Facebook Messenger plugin (www.ads-software.com/plugins/facebook-messenger-customer-chat/)

Is it possible that some other site setting that has been modified is responsible?

Even when trying to reset to default (ticking the checkbox in the plugin settings), I get a “page not found”.

So, in short, everytime I press the “Save settings” button, it sends me to an empty page (www.timeforgreek.com/wp-admin/options.php) that says the standard broken page/link text.
(“This page doesn’t seem to exist.
It looks like the link pointing here was faulty. Maybe try searching?”)

    Hi @srodweb

If you just try to load that URL (timeforgreek.com/wp-admin/options.php) directly does it still show a 404?

Because by default (unrelated to the plugin) that URL should show a big list of all WordPress options.

If you are getting a 404, can you try disabling our plugin and then try that URL again.

If it’s still a 404 then there’s something wrong with the WordPress installation.

In that case you could go to timeforgreek.com/wp-admin/update-core.php, if you are using the latest version of WordPress you’ll see a button saying “Re-install version 5.7.2”, click that.

If something is wrong with the WordPress install that should fix it.
