    Hi,
I have just migrated a website to a new server which has wppa running. Everything appears to be working except for search. It never returns any results.

The site was moved using all-in-one migration and so the database we moved rather than re-created.

I read the instructions to recreate search using the settings in Table VIII-A8 and Table VIII-A9. In the version I have I only have Table VIII-A8.1-A8.3. I have run each of these and they have completed.

The list in Table VIII C3 can be seen using the show button.

Do you have any guidance on what to try next to get search working again?

    many thanks
    Mike

    – Are you using the search widget or…
    – Does it say ‘No itens found matching your search criteria’ or just nothing or…

How does the landing page look (shortcode(s)) ?

    Hi Jacob,

We are using the Elementor widget. I also tried using the shortcode in a standard WP page but got the same result.

The landing page uses the shortcode [wppa type=”landing”]

    Here’s the url https://cerneabbashistory.org/photographs/

    thanks

Strange… everything looks ok. Are you sure the search results page is not cached?

We have managed to fix it. You had an earlier ticket from the website owner about search and he changed xI-e1 occur to 2 to fix that problem. He changed that back to 1 and all is now working again.

    many thanks.

Great! That was not detectable from the frontend and i didn’t think about it.
