I am using Lite version of Optin Revolution. I followed the video tutorial for integration with MailChimp, but I cannot select this in the Email Forms tab. AWeber is the pre-selected option and if I click on any other service the button does not stay grey. I am using Firefox v.38.0.5 for Win 8.1.

    Regards,
    Simon

    Hi,

Please don’t request admin access to other users sites, when you offer to get admin access and/or FTP access then you’re really going too far and that’s not cool.

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#The_Bad_Stuff

If you are given admin credentials, you are potentially liable for any potential damage that maybe caused, not only by yourself but anyone accessing the system. Even if you do not provide warranty with your own product.

Unless you’re willing to take responsibility for that user’s installation from now on (and they should NOT let you do that) then please do not ask or suggest that someone provide you those admin or FTP details.

You can provide assistance here, ask for log data, you can make recommendations and even suggest changes. But do not seek admin or FTP access. That’s just going too far.

    Hi Marius,

We provide exceptional support and at time we do require access to help. It’s up to the individual if they want the help or not.

This is not done via WordPress support it done via or support portal, this is common practice when supporting any application on a web server.

We test our plugin using the default theme with limited plugin but we can not test every theme and every plugin for compatibility.

Any changes are are always authorized by the owner.

No details are ever posted here.

Thank you for your concern and feedback.

The thing is, people are asking for help on the forums. If you cannot provide support on the same forums that they’re asking then that is just a compromise you’ll have to accept. Forums are text based and difficult to establish fluent conversations, but please don’t give up and ask for admin access. The forums are going to be here for a long time and they are accessible by everyone – it’s better in the long run to provide support on these forums so that everyone can benefit.

@simonbowen Please excuse us while we all go off topic for another minute.

@optinrevolution Once again, please give this a read.

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome

As Marius indicated above this is the important part.

    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#The_Bad_Stuff

These forums run well but the users in these forums are not your customers. If you feel the need to ignore the forum welcome to help your users then please consider hosting your own support forums on your own site.

    https://optinrevolution.zendesk.com/home

If you would prefer to do that (and that’s fine too) then I can create a sticky post in your sub-forum here and direct users to your own site. On your site you can do as you please bur while in these forums please do not ask for that access again.

@simonbowen Back to the regular topic at hand: has your issue been resolved? ??

    (@simonbowen)

    Hi Jan,

Thanks for this. The issue has been resolved insofar as Optin Revolution confirmed that their plugin is incompatible with our WP template.

@jan Dembowski thank you. Yes I think a sticky post is a great idea.

Thanks for providing the link https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#The_Bad_Stuff

We will not request access in the future.
