    Hi There

I have a new install of WordPress 5.3, buddypress 5.1.2 and buddymeet 1.3.0

I have created the group as “Private”, and invited my test user, so the group has 1 admin member (myself) and 1 member user.

The problem I am having is under the BuddyMeet options on the group page. When I tick the “Active” checkbox under “Allow members of this group to enter the same video conference room.” and save the settings the checkbox is not checked. Every other setting change I make does get saved though, and I get a message “Settings saved successfully”.

This means the “Meet” tab never shows up, and am unable to join a conference.

There are no messages at all in the console.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

Just an update. For whatever reason “_buddymeet_enabled” was missing from wp_options, so I added it manually. Now It appears to be working, so on the the next challenge……

    Hi,

thanks for the feedback. I have added a to-do to thoroughly test and reproduce this case. Hope everything runs now smoothly.

So far so good thank you.

I am still working on a few quirks, and if any issues are related to the plugin I’ll post them. I am happy however to close this one off then if you are.

I did forget to mention I am working on a twentytwenty child theme with minimal changes in the child so far, as almost as good as using the twentytwenty parent theme.

    Glad to hear!!!
