we ship to all Australian addresses and recently a few customers have complained they’re getting errors with this paypal payments plugin mentioning they are getting errors saying we don’t ship to their areas. If they give it another shot it works second time. Am I right to assume the website is not responding to paypal when paypal is requesting the delivery methods for the chosen paypal address? If so how can we sort this out?

    Hi @extremist87

We have submitted a bug report to PayPal to track this behavior. In the last 5 days or so there has been an increase in failed GET requests that take place during the shipping update event.

We’re waiting to hear back from PayPal on their findings. This doesn’t appear to be a plugin issue.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @hwhwh1224

This is an issue that we’ve reported to PayPal as it’s being caused by their servers during some API requests. We are pushing them to respond to the bug report and resolve it as soon as possibe.

This is not an issue caused by the PayPal plugin. You can use our contact us page if you like and we’ll add you to the ticket. The more merchants pushing them the better.

    Kind Regards,

Version 1.0.24 has been released. The cause of the issue was related to PayPal’s production servers rate limiting requests that contained the ‘user-agent’ property that WordPress sends by default for all outbound requests.
