    Hello,

I’ve chosen to stop comments on my blog by unchecking “anyone can comment on this article”, but comments are still coming in and are posting. Does this actually stop comments from appearing on the front page or do I need to moderate comments instead? Can I delete the comment.php information to stop them? Will that work? And is there anything I can do on my CPanel to stop comments from appearing?

i have check your blog, still cant find whats issue did you try to change theme and see ?? which one is post you have disabled comments ?

I suppose you know that in oder to disbable comments on ay post you have to uncheck ->Allow Comments option under ‘Comments and Pings’ on that post.

The setting in the options menu only applies to new posts, like blogsdna said you’ll have to disable it on each post individually.

I figured it out. I had to actually do a post for the new changes to take effect. Sorry to waste everyone’s time! *blushing* ??
