• I cant think of anyway at all to do a good navigation on my site. I’ve thought and thought and I’ve come up with anything. I was going to use the tabbed navigation thing but I saw to many sites that were using it so I decided not to. Then I was just going to make a bar accross the top with links and then I decided that looked bad.

Here’s what I did looks like right now https://www.wh0cares.com/testblog/.

Now that I think about it, I might do a verticle nav in the top div, but maybe not… Anways, someone please suggest a navigation to do on there or something.

  • How about something down the middle of the page. No one is doing that. :)

Seriously, there’s not many ways to play with navigation designs, at least not without starting to get into areas where its A. a lot of coding/recoding to get to something original, and B. confusing to your readers, since at this point we have come to expect certain conventions when it comes to how a web site is laid out.

But forgetting these points for the moment, if you’re up to a design and scripting challenge, perhaps a multi-column menu, placed in the upper left of your site’s header, would be both unique enough, and not cause a change to your site’s current layout.

I was thinking maybe do one something like the tabs but sideways I suppose. I dont know if its possible though.

Id just run them horizontally to the left of “The Life of Me” only smaller.
