• Forcing strong passwords for us is not always applicable in all situations. It seems that even when this feature is turned off in the settings it is still requiring it. We’ve cleared cache and confirmed it is definitely this plugin, as when we deactivate the plugin we have no problem setting the password (but of course on next login it is going to force a password change again.)

  • I can’t see any option to enable/disable strong passwords in the 8.x release.

    Is this because strong passwords have been made mandatory?
    For ALL user roles?

    The setting is under user groups, but it doesn’t seem to work. I turn it off but it still requires it when trying to change the password in users. But if I deactivate the plugin I can set passwords. I haven’t tried specifically by user groups, just to turn it completely off.

    Same here. It’s ruining the workflow for our login when using with formidable user reg plugin. Can we please get an answer as people’s jobs depend on this working.
