    I received the following message on my website today.

    “2022-05-31 18:55:34:Error occurred while updating SpamFireWall local base. Error: Can not unpack datafile.”

    Anti-Spam by CleanTalk vs 5.177.2

    Question: What does the above message mean? What should I do?

    Hello @mkclark150.

    This error is temporary and does not affect the spam protection of your site.
    Please wait a few hours and click “Synchronize with Cloud” in the plugin settings.

    If that doesn’t help, please, re-install the plugin with the Complete Deactivation option:
    1) WordPress Admin Page —> Settings —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Advanced settings —> set the option “Complete Deactivation” to “On” —> Save Changes;
    2) WordPress Admin Page —> Plugins —> Installed plugins —> Anti-Spam by CleanTalk —> Deactivate and Delete.
    3) Then install it anew: https://cleantalk.org/help/install-wordpress.
