I am using 7.14 and discovered that when accessing Wordfence ‘all options’ menu that I cannot change anything. However, I can update when using other Wordfence menus. I don’t know how long this issue has existed because I rarely need to touch Wordfence settings. I have several other sites that work fine. I can live with this, but wanted you aware. Any tips on what’s causing this will be appreciated. Thanks,
    david

  • @dskirk,

Maybe another plugin installed on your site (or the theme you’re using) is conflicting with Wordfence; can you see any errors in the browser console when you’re trying to make changes from the “All Options” page?

Try temporarily switching to a default theme –if you’re not already using one– and disabling all other plugins then reactivating them one by one to see if the issue persists; the easiest way to do that is to use the “Health Check” plugin which allows you to disable plugins and switch to a default theme, but only for your user.

Thanks. I was hoping for an easier answer, since I’ve not changed plugins or theme in years. I’ll work through that. Thanks for the ‘health check’ tip.

    Hi @dskirk!
Looks like you are using Cloudflare. There is currently a bug in Cloudflares Rocket Loader that seems to break jQuery and a few other things in WordPress admin. Can you try turning the Rocket Loader off in Cloudflare and see if that fixes your issue? You can find some information about it here.

    Thanks!
