• My site is running WP 5.5.3 and the theme and plugins are up-to-date. I cannot update any page or post without getting an error that reads, “Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.”

    – I changed the permalinks settings, saved, and changed them back.
    – I deleted the .htaccess page and generated a new one.
    – I disabled the security and caching plugins.
    – I disabled all of the plugins.
    – I changed the theme to 2020.

Nothing has worked. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions to allow me to add and change pages and posts.

    Thanks.

Thank you for your reply. I am using the Classic Editor plugin and when I did a site health check I did not find any IP issues, but I am still unable to update pages or posts.

    Hey @jinx-nm,
You could try clearing your cache and cookies, followed by disabling the plugins and re-enabling them.
Enable only the most required plugins and check if the issue still exists.

Thanks Prabhat Kumar Rai. I had tried disabling all of the plugins before, but I cleared my cache and tried again but it did not work. I need Contact Forms 7 to update a form, so I turned that on and it failed to update the form. On thing I did notice is that when I turned Classic Editor off I was able to update a page using Gutenburg, but deleting Classic Editor entirely still did not allow me to update the form.

    Hey @jinx-nm,
Could you confirm that your PHP version is the latest one (7.4.12)??

Hello @prabhatrai. The PHP version is 7.4. The host does not show if it is 7.4.12, but I am using the most recent version available there.
