Cannot update PHP, and can’t update WordPress as a result.

  • Hi so Im currently working on this website https://wpyouth.sg/ and I cannot update the PHP, and because of that WordPress cannot be updated (error message: You cannot update because WordPress 5.8.1 requires PHP version 5.6.20 or higher. You are running version 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.4.

    Because of all this,Jetpack has stopped working.

    I downloaded PHP Compatability but for some reason it can’t load the results.
