Cannot update plugins within WP

  • Looks like a permissions issue. I would temporarily set your permission on your plugins folder to something like 777 to see if it works. If that doesn’t work then it could be a group/owner issue. You might want to visit this article for additional details.

    Hi,

    I tried to change permissions and other tips provided on forums. Nope!
    Hope my host has a solution for this.

    Uploading through ftp is an option but not practical.

    Yeah, I’m not sure what else to suggest at this point except possibly looking at the group/owner and possibly a chown if you have not tried that already…
