Cannot updates anything

  • Hello,

    I am using WP version 4.1 and it does not let me upgrade anything (WP, themes, plugins). A part from that, the sites works perfectly.

    On the update pages, under plugins, it says various times:

    Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.ads-software.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.ads-software.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /htdocs/public/blog/wp-admin/includes/plugin-install.php on line 83

    When I click on update now to update the wordpress version, it says:

    Installation Failed

    I have tried to upgrade some plugins manually and it has worked perfectly.
