When we upgrade to any version newer than 2.3.6.3, we get the error:

Warning file_get_contents0: SSL operation failed with code 1 OpenSSL Error messages error 14089986 SSL routines SSL3_get_server_certificate certificate verify failed in

I cannot upload a screen capture here, but you can see it here:

Our WordPress is 5.8 and we use Cornerstone 6.0.5 with X theme 9.0.5

    Hello,

Can you please tell me the server PHP version? Are you using the first image from the post?

    Thanks

In one of the Post Grids, the Media Source is “First picture from content.” In another, we use “Featured Image.”

I should mention that the failure mode/error message appears only on any pages featuring the Post Grid, not any other parts of the site.

That worked. I updated WP to 5.8.1, cleared the cache, and updated The Post Grid to 3.0.4. At first, it appeared to crash. Then refreshing the browser again seemed to clear it.
