Cannot Upload Files

Hi there, I was able to create folders, but when I go to upload a file it’s not working out. At the bottom of the pop up to upload a file, I have a short blue button (with no text) and a close button. If I click the close button, and try to re-upload a file my content is there, but it’s in a draft like state. If I click the short (broken?) blue button, it closes the file upload window and then does not upload the file. I’m checked a few forums, and looked at the server compatibility window, to no avail.
