Cannot upload images to new gallery

    Hello!

    I am using NextGEN Gallery 2.2.4 on WP 4.9.5. I also use the plugin NextGEN Gallery Voting 2.7.6. I have used this NextGEN combo for over two years without a problem. However, now when creating a new gallery, when I select “Add Files”, the popup file browser does not appear. Also, if I choose to upload from the WordPress Media Library, it allows me to select images, but endlessly imports.

    I deactivated all of my plugins and changed to the neutral WP twenty theme and it started working normally again. I went through the painstaking process of testing it after re-activating my theme and each plugin. Turns out the conflict is with the NextGEN Gallery Voting plugin. As I frequently set-up jurying via online gallery, I need this functionality. Any chance of a fix please?

    @starlinggirl – Although we are sorry to read you are having issues with this plugin we are not the authors of the third-party extension “NextGEN Gallery Voting” and it would be best for you to contact its author for assistance with its functionality.

    Also to note, you should be using the latest releases of our plugins as well.
