Cannot upload images using Classic Editor

    I have not been able to upload images using Classic Editor since my site updated to WordPress 5.3. The page either gets stuck when I click the “Upload Files” icon or, if I managed to get the “Select Files” button to show and click to upload an image, the image never loads. It just sits there with the progress bar half full.

    I’ve tried all the suggestions mentioned in the previous topics, and the only one that partly works is purging the site and browser cache. After doing that, I can upload one image but only one. If I want to add more, I have to purge site and browser cache all over again then the file will load.

    Is there anything I can do to fix this? Or do I need to wait for Classic Editor to be updated?

    *UPDATE: I think I found the problem–there was a conflict with another plugin I was using (Enhanced Media Library). I’ve disabled that plugin and, so far, my images are loading normally.
