cannot use a metabox option field in WP_Query meta_key

I created a metabox using titan framework and I tried to use that field as a meta_key for my WP_Query Loop. It seems that WP_Query cannot locate the field created by titan framework.
I already double checked if the ID of the field is the same as the string I used for the meta_key value I used as parameter for my WP_Query object.
Can the options created be included in the WP_Query as custom field parameter? if yes, how? I might be doing something wrong.
