cannot use my localhost

  • Hi,

    I have been trying to upload my local wordpress site to a host and now I am not able access my own localhost.
    The upload is still a mess and is a problem in itself but wil post that on a different forum.
    For now I do not understand the following:
    1. Why when I type in localhost/wordpress it goes to the homepage on my machine. However the CSS is completely not working.
    2. When I type in https://localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/ is goes to my host.
    3. When I click on one of the links it also goes to “public_html/wp/test01/” on the host. The “test01” is not working any longer.

    I bet there is one answer to all three issue but I gave up after two weeks. Please help.
