cannot use % on one of my wordpress sites?!

  • hi,

    on my wordpress site, themta.co.uk when I try to use a % symbol it goes to a page saying not found if I replace the % with ‘Percent’ it then updates teh page.

    I have tested this with my other wordpress site: here and I am able to use % symbols!

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

    I have uploaded this site to a new server and it works,…I think it might be down to a version of PHP? anyone?
