    After upgrading wordpress , I am no longer able to view the single-post or preview the post before publishing.

    I have reset cache checked the link to the page and is correct but it still returns a 404 error??

    Not sure why the custom post Projects shows the category list then shows posts under those categories but will not show the actual post?

    Please help

    Looks like you have the post type slug being “projects” and then also your custom taxonomy with a rewrite slug being “projects” as well. I was able to recreate once I imported both, and once I renamed the taxonomy rewrite to something else, the 404 error cleared itself up.

    Chances are both post type and taxonomy query args are being mixed up due to this match, and thus WordPress just isn’t finding anything to match.
