    Hi,

I have a question when filters are used. I see there are no canonical links which could end up in duplicate content. Is this correct or is there maybe an issue / compatibility issue with a plugin?

    Hello Sammies,

It is obviously entirely up to you to decide what may be qualified as duplicate content, and deal with it as you wish!

Do you use some 3d-party SEO plugin to display canonical tags on shop pages, and it doesn’t get displayed on filtered pages? Perhaps you need to search that plugin’s documentation / ask its developers for a way of accounting for the presence of URL parameters? Without knowing your situation it’s just a wild guess, but may be your SEO plugin sees each filtered page as a separate page, and doesn’t apply the canonical tag because of this?

    Hi,
I just wanted to confirm if it was your plugin or Rankmath. So it seems to be Rankmath causing the issues. I already raised an issue with them.

    Thanks for your rapid reply!

    Regards,

    Sam

    Ok Sam,

On our side I really can’t think of anything else apart from the changing parameters. I wish you to find the solution really fast!
