Canonical links are not updated

    Hi,

    We are trying to update the canonical tags on our website by adding the following code to the .htaccess file.

    <FilesMatch "Zebra-Brochure-HC-Patient-ID-Solutions.pdf\.pdf$">

??Header set Link <https://www.bluestarinc.com/fileadmin/bluestar-typo3/documents/PDF-product/Zebra/hc100-patient-id-datasheet-en-us.pdf>; rel="canonical"

</FilesMatch>

    We added the same format in another website .htaccess file but it’s not working in this website. Can you please check and provide us a solution if we need to update the code or anything?

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. The?wpseo_canonical?filter can be used to customize the canonical URL. Typically, code snippets are added to your theme’s functions.php file. If you’re unfamiliar with using code snippets, we’d like to refer you to the WordPress documentation on?how to use a filter. An example code snippet can be found?here?and?here.
