• Hello,

I am in need of advice on proper using of canonical tags on my paginated content. I will appreciate any help here.

The thing is, I have paginated posts, because they are working as image galleries. Every photo is on one page, but they all have same descriptive text. So, they are duplicate, because the only one unique element on pages is different image, but same description.

Look on this post for example: https://www.worthminer.com/backyard-seating-ideas/

When you continue with browsing on next photos, you will see what I mean. You SEO plugin automatically changed canonical tags from page 1 (url above) to url which is current. But I think that right solution here is to have canonical tags from other photos always potinting to that first page of article to avoid duplicates. Am I right? I manually changed urls in advanced part of your plugin for every posts so the canonical tag points to url of first photo – which is the one I want to appear in search engines.

    Thanks for any help.
