• Hello,

I am using your free version (testing before buying pro version). Can you tell me how your canonical on duplicate pages works?

As far as my testing, it only seems to work in unison with the Yoast plugin. If I deactivate Yoast then it does not set a canonical on the duplicate page. So is this basically Yoast which is creating the canonical?

    Thanks

    Hi, @dav74!

Do you mean Premmerce WooCommerce Permalink Manager?

Did you test it on the product category or on the product page?

    Hi Premmerce (@premmerce)

Yes I am talking about the WooCommerce Permalink Manager. However after testing again all seems to be working and I cannot replicate what I saw previously.

So all looks to be good ??

    Hi Premmerce (@premmerce),

I had another question. Can you tell me if your 301 redirects are written to the .htaccess file, or are they somehow stored within the plugin?

If the plugin is disabled, does it then delete all these redirects?

    Thank you

    Hello, @dav74!

Yes, even if you just disable this feature – all redirects will be off.

    Hi Premmerce (@premmerce)

Actually this is what my main worry is. Quite often you have to disable a plugin to debug an issue. In this case with your plugin, it could be catastrophic. Hundreds of URls changing and customers getting tot 404 pages.

How are you suppose to manage that issue?

    Hi, @dav74!

Sorry, but it’s not possible that the plugin did something if it’s disable, so in any case, we can not help you within our plugin.

We advise you to debug issues on the test site.

OK understood. Thanks for your reply in any case.
I have a further question but will open a new post about that…
