Can't access admin area with certain theme

  • Hello, I have a question regarding the use of the pandora theme.

    I can access the admin area just fine with the default theme but when I install pandora the front end works great but I can’t access the admin area. I don’t get any error messages, just a blank screen. I really need to use this template as it is a site rebuild.

    Does anybody have any idea what is going on?

  • If you can’t get into the admin you can rename or delete the Pandora theme folder via FTP. You may have gotten some corrupt files or something. Once you are able to get into the admin, you could try re-installing the theme.

    Yeh, I have done this several times. I even uninstalled wp and reverted back to an older version and then tried reinstalling it and nothing is working.

    If it’s only happening with that theme, then your choices are to try to figure out what is wrong with the theme or use a different one. Maybe you can contact the theme developer. They may also have their own support forum.
