Can’t access admin page due to migration from MAMP Pro to MAMP

  • My two-week free trial of MAMP Pro ended and now I can’t access my admin login page. I can access a kind of mangled version of the site but when I try to navigate to the admin panel it takes me to a weird “Powered by WordPress” login page that takes me to a 404 Page not found error. My site is still under development and has never gone live. I have tried deactivating plugins and themes. I have tried changing my password and adding a new user in MyPHPadmin. I’ve tried lots of other things but nothing seems to work. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    I’m unsure what the problem would be. Given the lack of responses so far, no one else does either. What I would do is move all my WP files out of MAMP and make a full export of the WP DB. Completely uninstall MAMP Pro and install a new fresh version of MAMP. Move the WP files back into place and import the DB data.
