Can’t access back-end with UM login

    I’m not sure what happened to start this issue.

    We have UM installed on our WP site. If I log in using the UM login page, I get the WP admin ribbon bar at the top of my site. However, if I try to then access the dashboard, I get redirected to the default WP login page. If I log in on that page, I get redirected to the main site, but then I am logged out of my UM account.

    If I disable the UM plugin (renaming the ultimate-member folder in the plugins folder), I can access wp-admin using the default WP login page. However, I then lose all of the UM-related stuff like login-required pages. Those login-required pages are then open to all guests, not just logged-in users.

    Hi @ddr4lyfe,

    Do you have any security plugins on your site?
    Please check that your admin role can access wp-admin in Ultimate member -> Roles -> your admin user role.
    You can also try to reset access tab section, in the Ultimate member -> Settings -> Access tab, by pressing reset section button and see if your issue goes away.

    Luckily we had a backup to before this issue started occurring and had our webhosting company do a full restore to that point. The issue seems to be gone. I’m wondering if something happened during an update…
