I’ve been communicating with my host, iPage, about this but they’re taking a long time and it seems they’re pretty confused themselves. So I thought I’d ask here! My site is at https://www.livelaughandplay.com

On my dashboard I see this error: WP HTTP Error: error setting certificate verify locations: CAfile: /hermes/bosnaweb09a/b1021/ipg.livelaughandplaycom/wp-includes/certificates/ca-bundle.crt CApath: /etc/ssl/certs

I can’t get the ca-bundle.crt file uploaded to my file manager or through FTP. When I try the file manager the file is greyed out and I can’t select it. When I try through FTP it says it cannot initiate the transfer. This is the file that comes with the WordPress download located in wp-includes/certificates/ and I have tried re-downloading WordPress and uploading those exact files alone, nothing else but the defaults. I still have the same problem!

Nobody can follow or subscribe to my blog and I can’t set up RSS, which I think is the same thing, right? I’m so frustrated and tired of this and I don’t know what to do. Please help if you can.

After days of confusion and investigation I sent the file from my hard drive to a trusted friend who uploaded it to my file manager for me. Problem solved!
