    Hello,

    WordPress version 5.8.2
Current theme: Flexform Child Theme (version 1.0)
    PHP version 7.3.30

All plugins are up to date, updated via GoDaddy Managed WordPress tools.

I cannot access the website at all it shows a critical error message. Before updating WooCommerce to the latest version I was able to see the frontend but not the backend. I received this error:
An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 87 of the file /var/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/vendor/jetpack-autoloader/class-php-autoloader.php. Error message: require(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/src/Utilities/NumberUtil.php’ (include_path=’.:’)

After updating WooCommerce via GoDaddy I am no longer able to access the front-end or back-end.

I recently updated Indeed Ultimate Membership Pro plugin so I thought this may be the issue. Interestingly when I disable via FTP both Ultimate Membership Pro and WooCommerce I am able see the dashboard, however, the dashboard is ’empty’ it does not show pages, it only shows activity, news, and profile, and the front-end still shows a critical error message. Disabling all other plugins does not make a difference.

After disabling WooCommerce I got this error message about the Booster for WooCommerce via email. I am guessing this is to be expected.

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 118 of the file /var/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/includes/class-wcj-payment-gateways-fees.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function WC() in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-jetpack/includes/class-wcj-payment-gateways-fees.php:118

    #9 /var/www/wp-admin/index.php(10): require_once('/var/www/wp-adm...')
    #10 {main}

I have tried to restore the website (files and database) to a version before Ultimate Membership Pro or WooCommerce were updated and when the website was last known to be working via GoDaddy and I still get a critical error. I was able to restore a recent version where the front-end was working, the version before updating to WooCommerce 6 in the past. However, after updating to WooCommerce 6 GoDaddy now says there was an error with restoring the backup.

I am at a loss. I cannot update my PhP as GoDaddy does not have this option. I am unsure if I should keep trying to restore to earlier versions or if I should just manually downgrade Ultimate Membership Pro and WooCommerce. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @vmarsman ??

Thanks for getting in touch with us ??

Based on the information you have shared, it is very likely that there is a conflict occurring on your site.

To find the root cause of the problem, you could follow these steps: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

If you do that and the issue persists, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status with us? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.? Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

    Thanks!

    Hi Joash,

When I disable plugins one by one there is no change, the only time there is a change is when I disable both WooCommerce and Indeed Ultimate Membership Pro and then I can get into the dashboard, but the dashboard does not show pages or plugins it only shows ‘profile.’ I am able to access files via FTP, is there a way to get the system report via FTP?

    Hello,

I disable both WooCommerce and Indeed Ultimate Membership Pro and then I can get into the dashboard, but the dashboard does not show pages or plugins it only shows ‘profile.’

To clarify, did you also switch to a default theme like Storefront via FTP?
