  • I get this same issue… still waiting on input.

You can′t link to the files with a direct link, you use this code instead:
    [mv_dl_links ids=”11,23,67″]
(This link is for multiple files, take the “id” for the file you have in the upload.)

    One single file:
    Example “Download this pdf: [mv_dl_links ids=”11″] ”

Where would that code go, Nicker_82?
I am having this issue, as well, and need to have Admin users be able to access these files. The Media Vault plug in does protect the files, but it protects the files from EVERYONE, making them inaccessible and therefore useless.

Even when I use the code you have provided, when I click it to download the file, a file downloads with the name of the file as <file id>.htm

Then I’m logged out, and the htm file I downloaded contains the contents of the login page.

When I put the mv_dl code into the page, it pulls the file name and everything.
