    Hi,

I have been working on this page that was already ready to be published. The instruction I received from the web designer was that as soon as the page was ready I should remove the index.html file from the server and change the domain link on WordPress from bykoji.com/dev to bykoji.com, but as soon as I removed “/dev” I lost access to the admin panel and can’t access it again.

I tried to check how can I connect the WordPress instance with the cPanel and followed some instructions and installed a WordPress instance on the server with my admin credentials, however it’s empty and now I don’t know how to:
    1) get back access to the WordPress instance (bykoji.com/dev) I was working on
    2) connect it with the domain bykoji.com instead of bykoji.com/dev.

    Thanks!!

    Lilit

  • Access your site files (via your cPanel File Manager or FTP), and move EVERYTHING inside the dev folder to the domain’s root folder (likely the public_html folder).
