Cant access one of my blogs

    Hello guys, I would appreciate any insight that you may offer on this issue I have.
    I can log and add new posts without a problem to my blog in english: https://en.viodance.com/blog/
    However I can’t do the same with my spanish blog: https://www.viodance.com/blog/
    I get this “500 error” message when I input my correct username and password:

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    I fail to see what could I be doing wrong? I can go back to the blog clicking on the link I mentioned above, but once I wanna edit anything (create a post, go to config, edit posts…) I get back to the error page. I also wanna mention that my blog is made with wordpress but the rest of the website is hosted somewhere else and made with html coding.

    Hi @beckyviodance,

    My first thought is a bad .htaccess file. Do you have FTP access to your server? I would try deleting the .htaccess file, then trying to log in. If successful, go to Settings > Permalinks, and click save to generate a new .htaccess file.

    This is the first thing I would try.

    Hello @angelajholden,

    Thanks a lot for your insight! I tried deleting the .htaccess file and I still can’t access the blog. I even tried copying the .htaccess file from the english blog, to see if that made the trick, but nothing.
    Any other advice?
