Can't access post, can't enter in.

  • Hello to all!

    My problem is that I can’t enter in Post of Dashboard. I get 404 error message like ‘page,content not found’.

    ‘Add new’ and Categories of Post block are working, except ‘Post’, so now i can not see my published and pending entries

    Any ideas?

    Try downloading WordPress again and delete then replace your copies of everything except the wp-config.php file and the /wp-content/ directory with fresh copies from the download.

    I did all what you said. But no result, still can’t enter in post because i get 404 error with “”Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here. Try something else.”

    What is the URL in your address bar when you see that error?

    Check your /wp-admin/ directory. Is there an edit.php file?

    Yes, there is edit.php

    Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

    If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 – 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can affect the admin panel).
