  • Neither can I. It keeps bringing me to my homepage.

Neither can I. A page pops up which reads, “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” Looking forward to exploring this plugin.

Me, too. Same message. Maybe settings are only for the pro version ??

    Hey everybody,

Really sorry for any inconveniences here. Appreciate your patience, as I was out of town last week.

To be clear, do you see Client Dash in the admin menu when logged in as an Administrator? Do you then also see Settings in the sub-menu?

the issue is explained above – when selecting the plugin from the menu the error message is:

“Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

webdev, I was only asking to figure out exactly how you were accessing the settings. Can you please copy/paste the exact URL here that is giving you that message? Thank you.

how can I post it privately?

    Having same problem.

Here is the url generating error: https://nvacts.com/wp/wp-admin/admin.php?page=clientdash_settings

Client Dash does not show up on Admin menu, but is only in plugin menu

    Hey there,

Terribly sorry I forgot to post their resolution. They were using a plugin that hides all WordPress notices. Client Dash had a notice indicating the plugin needed to upgrade the database before it would load, which they could not see.

Can you verify you are not hiding the notice? If you do see the notice, click the “Upgrade” button and the plugin should load properly.

    Hello

I am having the same issue as this – I downloaded the latest version and do not see any notices for an upgrade.

Here is the url generating error: https://mysite.com/wp/wp-admin/admin.php?page=clientdash_settings

Client Dash does not show up on Admin menu, but is only in plugin menu

    Please help me resolve.

    Thanks

@joelworsham I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
