Can’t access site

    ok I’ve been having this redirect problem for a long time
    basically I go to my wp-admin page and i don’t get a prompt for my password. Before it was ok cause I could just go to /post.php/ and i guess there was a cookie on my computer cause it worked ok….. well i reformatted my computer and I can’t access any of my files. I know that I have like 10 comments waiting but I can’t access anything to approve them or even post!!! help!!!

    Do you have a redirect or something in your .htaccess file?

    Try this /wp-admin/index.php or /wp-login.php

    ok about the .htaccess thing – I’m really slow at this and need a bit more instruction – there is not .htaccess file in my /wp-admin/ folder at all…. i guess that’s a problem, eh?

    i can get to wp-login.php but when i put in my info, it doesn’t take me anywhere. just a blank screen. then after logging in, I go to post.php and still just a blank screen

    jesslin, do you have a copy of the wordpress code that you uploaded and installed still on your hard drive? Maybe you can zip it up so I could take a look at it?

    I’m currently disecting WordPress to understand how it works, so any problems will be a good challenge ??

    The thing is, I used this fantastico thing that was on my server. It installed it for me. Everything was working fine for like 2 weeks and then all of a sudden it stopped.
