Can’t access Sitekit section of WP dashboard or place ads because of error code

Could you provide your URL, send us a screenshot of the error and any browser console errors?

Are you able to deactivate and reactivate Site Kit and proceed through the setup process and service connections once more? Trying through an incognito window might be best.

@reneesoffice I deactivated and reactivated the Site Kit plugin and that did nothing. Now I’ve disconnected my SiteKit and tried to reconnect it but it won’t allow me to verify my website with Google to connect them again. It keeps showing a WordPress error saying ‘invalid nonce’. This happens both in a normal window and an incognito one.

@abbeybontempo Thanks for the update. It looks like your site is using a “coming soon” type plugin. In these cases Site Kit setup won’t work as expected.

If you temporarily deactivate any coming soon type plugins I’m happy to check after you’ve attempted Site Kit setup once more.

@jamesosborne I deactivated the maintenance page plugin and have tried again. I click ‘sign in with google to set up Sitekit’ and it won’t let me get past the sign in with google account stage. It asks me to confirm access, and then asks me to sign in to my WordPress account again, and then shows the error code ‘invalid nonce’.

@abbeybontempo There are a large number of plugins active, some of which I’m unfamiliar with. In order to setup Site Kit would you be able to temporarily deactivate these plugins before checking once more, maybe deactivate a few at a time before attempting setup once more (using an incognito window).

You will of course have to have the Maintenance mode plugin active also while checking.

I’m happy also to try and recreate the same issue, but first we’ll need to narrow down potential conflicts with other plugins.
