    Hi,

I recently downloaded and activated the WP Staging plugin on our website. Unfortunately I canno’t access the staging dashboard environment. When I open the staging site I get a login form and after entering my credentials I get the see our site with the top bar where is stated: “Staging – our website name Dashboard”. (the top bar is not orange but dark grey).

When I click on Dashboard I get a page not found error. I am unable to access the dashboard of the staging site. I also tried to add wp-admin (and our custom slug) to the url, but no success.

I also installed the plugin to another site of us, which is hosted somewhere else. There I have the same issue.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Kind regards,

    Bianca

    Hi Bianca!
If you have access to the server via FTP/SSH, try to follow this guide to enable Permalinks:
    https://wp-staging.com/docs/activate-permalinks-staging-site/

If this doesn’t help, then please share the site’s system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) via this form and we will help you further from there.

    Thanks,
    Alaa

    Hi Alaa,

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Just followed the guide but with no success, so I am going to fill in the form like you mentioned.
