Can’t access the Site Editor
-
My hosting company installed WordPress for me just last week. The tutorial says that from my Dashboard I can select?
Appearance -> Editor
?at which point I should see the Site Editor displaying my blog home template. But what I actually see is a blank screen with a horizontal line that looks like it’s trying to build something, but nothing ever happens.I’m running the 2024 theme under WordPress 6.7 on a Chrome browser under Windows 10. I don’t know if this is helpful, but here’s what the console says:
JQMIGRATE: Migrate is installed, version 3.4.1
api-fetch.min.js?ver=d387b816bc1ed2042e28:2OPTIONS https://www.texabuse.com/wp/wp-json/wp/v2/settings?_locale=user net::ERR_CONNECTION_RESET
I’m so new at this that I don’t know if this is something misconfigured in my installation of WordPress or if this is an issue that my hosting company needs to address.
Thank you for your help!
